In a quiet village surrounded by tall trees and thick forests, there lived a young girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She was known for her bright red hood, which she wore every day, and this is how she got her name. Her mother often sent her to visit her grandmother, who lived in a cottage deep in the woods.
One sunny morning, her mother asked her to take a basket of food and cake to her grandmother. "Be careful on your way," she said. "Don’t talk to strangers and stay on the path."
But as Little Red Riding Hood walked through the forest, she met a wolf. The wolf saw her and asked, "Where are you going, little girl?" She answered, "I’m going to see my grandmother." The wolf smiled and said, "She lives in the woods? I think I’ll go there too."
The wolf ran ahead and reached the cottage first. He tricked the grandmother into opening the door, then ate her and hid in her bed. When Little Red Riding Hood arrived, she knocked on the door. The wolf, pretending to be the grandmother, said, "Come in, dear."
When Little Red Riding Hood entered, she noticed something strange. "Grandmother, what big eyes you have!" she said. "The better to see you with," the wolf replied. "What big ears you have!" "The better to hear you with," he said. "What big teeth you have!" "The better to eat you with!"
Just then, a hunter came by and heard the wolf’s growl. He opened the door and saw the wolf in the bed. With one shot, he killed the wolf and saved the grandmother. They all lived happily ever after.
From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood learned to be careful and never trust strangers. And the forest, once full of danger, became a place of peace again.
